CC1 - Sem2 Week 6: MIDI Sequencing 3

Sounds like Victor Wooten* has taken over the bass chair. I had a look at the MIDI effects, played around for about 3 hours but in the end, wasn’t happy with much. Except the Wooten slap effect (and that is a bit of a novelty). Tried to route MIDI to EQ but had no luck and have run out of time thanks to an Arduino obsession. Convert MIDI to audio tracks? I also investigated the track parameters.

I realise that the more fluid I get with the key editor and note lengths, the more human it does sound simply by my human input. Bit like ‘playing’ the MIDI track. Before ...

Before ...
... and after.

* For those of you into bass and/or just amazing musicianship and technique, check Victor on YouTube. Make sure you watch past the 45 second mark for the action.

I recommend Norwegian Wood, a little further down the list (The Beatles again, coincidentally!)
